Abdul Rasheed
Abdul Rasheed was a registered Biomedical scientist from overseas. With minimal UK laboratory experience he found it difficult to secure a role. He decided to join us for a refresher course with us in November 2023. Abdul was cutting 2 blocks in 10 minutes when we started, by the end of his first session Abdul achieved his target of 9 blocks in 10 minutes. We are so proud of Abdul that from his training he was able to secure a locum role in a histology laboratory.

Prerequisites
Students who wish to take this course should have some experience with using a microtome. Biomedical scientists registered from overseas. HCPC registration in another discipline
Note: This is not a cheaper alternative to taking the full course. If you do book this course knowing you do not have experience in histology the Biomed Lab Training can not offer any other services other than the ones listed above.
