From nil experience and continuous rejections she opted to take both Blood science course with the CV/Interview prep. Since, she has been offered two roles within the NHS as Medical lab assistant and Associate practitioner.

Who Can Attend?
This course is ideal for all individuals wishing to learn practical skills in order to land their
first role in a histology laboratory. It mainly applies to the following:
Biomedcal Science graduates or similar degree paths.
Band 3 or 4 laboratory staff currently working in a laboratory.
Registered Biomedical scientists working in a different discipline.
Prerequisites
The course is designed for Biomedical Sciences graduates and therefore we require students to have either a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences or a diploma to the same standard. We can also accept students from a science related degree but ask they are aware of prerequisites required to become a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Biomed Lab Training certification, validating your proficiency in haematological techniques.
As of December 2023, we are in the process of becoming CPD registered.
