Who Can Attend?
This course is ideal for all individuals wishing to learn practical skills in order to land their first role in a Microbiology laboratory. It mainly applies to the following:
Biomedcal Science graduates or similar degree paths.
Band 3 or 4 laboratory staff currently working in a laboratory.
Registered Biomedical scientists working in a different discipline.
Prerequisites
The course is designed for Biomedical Sciences graduates and therefore we require students to have either a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences or a diploma to the same standard. We can also accept students from a science related degree but ask they are aware of prerequisites required to become a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
Certification
Upon completion students will be presented with a certificate from Biomed Lab Training, validating their skills.
